Figure/Ground

Figure/Ground: relating to or denoting the perception of images by the distinction 

of objects from a background from which they appear to stand out, esp. in contexts where 

this distinction is ambiguous.


Color: the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the

 eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light.
